Introduction of Guest

The Coldwater Area Chamber of Commerce donated $250 to the Coldwater Robotics team. Becca Wenning, Parent Advisor for the team, brought the team in to present what the Robotics team does. 5 Freshman students shared their experiences and what they enjoy most about working on the Robotics team. They created a business plan to raise enough money to build, construct and program a robot that competed in the FIRST Tech Challenge series. Over the past couple of years, they have help spread the Robotics program across every school in Mercer County. Eventually these students will be employees across Mercer County and they will have gained business skills & teamwork with this program. They needed $5,000 to build their first Robot, which they raised on their own from local businesses. Anyone looking to donate to continue to support this program can email 22wennt@coldwatercavs.org or contact them on social media at @CWFTC.

Hometown Christmas – Santa House got some updates by the Coldwater Tri-Star program and should be finished today. The Christmas trees should be there today also. We will meet Thursday, December 15th at 4 PM to decorate the trees and put up the rest of the decorations. Jack got the year signs updated and will replace on Santa House. Old Business

WSU Lake Campus Welcome Back Package –A flyer was emailed out to local businesses informing them of the upcoming welcome back package. We have had a few businesses interested, but Liz is going to get with Brad on sending out another mass email.

New Business

Chamber Email – Liz has created a new chamber email where the information will be shared on our Dropbox. We believe it is a good idea to create a joint email account where all the Charlie emails would forward to so that anyone could check the emails. The president would be responsible for checking it daily, but anyone would have access to the emails if needed.

2019 Trustees – It was brought up that 4 of the current trustee’s would be done with their term this coming February. We are looking for new trustee’s who might be interested in helping the chamber.  Contact, info@coldwaterchamberofcommerce.com if interested in becoming a Trustee.

Jack Schwegman motioned to adjourn the meeting and seconded by Brittany Uhlenhake.  President Liz Wenning adjourned the meeting at 8:00 AM.
